You were all right about lessons!

So after saying I'm not having lessons and posting on here that i wasnt going to consider it. After 5 lessons I can say its the best thing ive ever done! Playing off 16 and have always been able to hit a good long shot however struggle with a fade now the fade is gone and slight draw is there and am hitting some ridiculous numbers and puring most shots! I hit a drive tonight with 104mph ball speed 148 ball speed 299 total distance! Some 40-50 yards more than usual! Just shows how wrong I was and proof that equipment isn't everything and its all down to the swing! Why didn't I take the plunge before....

Iv always felt the same and always regretted that I didn't get lessons sooner.

I am certainly a believer in lessons after my drive a 160yd slice has been changed into a mostly straight one approaching 200yds. its definitely all in the swing.

When the handicap comes down,and all is working,is the time you know the lessons have worked.

Lessons must be working when high handicappers start driving it distances a lot of pros struggle to gain :thup:

Despite the stick I had I think my performance yesterday proved even I can get better. What made my day was Midnight saying he thought it looked so much more in control and that I had so much more confidence in what I was doing. Glass half full indeed

Great round Martin, but you might want to re-arrange these words, make summer doesn't swallow a one.
