Afternoon All,
I just wanted to find out what the golfing population wear and what works best, in winter I used a Srixon all weather one but there latest version is pretty poor and slides against the hand, I have also been using a Srixon Cabretta glove which is good for a fiver each but I have found the grip wears and smooths over after a round or two, for a fiver you can not complain.

So what do you wear and why? Also does cost come into it?

I currently use a (leather) Nike glove.

What I buy normally depends on whats on sale when I decide I need a new one. Also fit - I've got very long, thin fingers.

I didn't use a glove at all until last year however!

Yeah that's something, I was buying Mediums (not the spirit type) and tried a small and its a little tight at first but fine... I am a grown man with little fat hands :(

I stopped wearing a glove a few months ago.Forgot once going to the range and havent worn one since.feel like i have alot more control, grip and feel

I was once charged £10 at the local pro shop for a wilson that split after a hole!! but I have found this weekend that the local pro is more like the local el banditto in terms of gear.

I have just placed an order for 3 more srixon cabretta for £15 so we see how they go, they are decent for the price.

I have used Wilson gloves for the last two or three years with no problems. I go through about 1 a month (more in summer), and have no complaints at all.
I find footjoy don't fit my hand at all (I also have long thin hands) and also don't last loong enough to justify the price. Never really tried any others.
Bought a rain glove the other day. Doesn't fit brilliantly, but it is probably still better than playing without in the rain. Maybe it will fit better when it is wet.

I use a callaway warbird because i was given it. Cant complain, its a good glove, have used a nike one but didnt last long. Warbird one is a tough nut and they are only £13 for two

My pro has just done me 3 leather Footjoy SciFlex for £25. Sadly it seems Footjoy aren't making them in different colours this yea so they are all black/white and small as I like a nice tight fit

I use Callaway Ladies size small (I have dainty hands ), they are the only ladies glove other than mizuno that I can find that fit (the fingers are always too long), otherwise I have to buy junior gloves. I get my gloves trade price so only tend to pay £3/4 for my Callaway gloves. :D

I was only footjoy until Madandra recommended Mizuno exo-flex. Really like this glove....will probably stick with it.

I use an Inesis TD Tour Cabretta Leather glove. Because they are not really well known they only cost £6.00 and are up there with gloves 2-3 times the cost.
