The new 917 drivers are being pushed out for £450!!:ooo::ooo::ooo:

Couldn't quite believe it when I saw it. We are not far off the £500 stock driver.

That being said, they are bloody lovely.

thing that surprises me is the m1 is still £399 doesn't seem to have dropped yet at all

Price elasticity of demand ...

Astonishing amount of money to pay for a club, but there are those out there who can (and will) afford to spend. Lucky buggers!

£399 at Clubhouse Golf, apparently they were hoping for a RRP of £399 and sell at £379, but they're blaming the weak pound hence the RRP of £450.

There's no accounting for what people will pay.

Spoke to a pro yesterday who said they have already sold 50 sets of PXG irons this year at over £2K per set. Are they really that much better than Titleist, Mizuno, TM, etc?

Imaging what that amount of lessons would do.

Anyone who doesn't play to a + handicap shouldn't be buying new clubs every year. Money better spent elsewhere surely (lessons etc)

A lad who played in front of us last week at Tralee had a full set of PXG , Driver , woods and irons a small fortune in that bag. I see that the M1 has been reduced by $100 in the States.
