And when you come back, some things never change...

Imurg and Richart are still knobs.

Nevertheless, was an absolute pleasure playing with them and cookelad at Blackmoor today.

Cookelad and I took the win somehow - apparently not playing for 3 years does wonders for your game, as I was striking the ball pretty solidly, much to my surprise.

Cheers for the last minute invite gents, absolute belter of an afternoon - how we lucked out with the weather, I'll never know.

Bit harsh on Imurg. OK and Richart too!

wow whos this stranger, is he still allowed in here :o

welcome back :)

Quality day out - apart from the traffic.
Good to meet up again Jon-Boy, good to meet Adam - he's a solid player and a great laugh.
Quality banter with Rich as well - cheers for the invite Sir.
Blackmoor was great, as usual, and looked stunning in the glorious sunshine we had after the early rain.
The Youngstars took the Oldies 3&1, mainly due to Adam being very steady but also Jon using his shots. I seemed to either par a hole or double bogey it.....and it was nice of Rich to save his best play until the 18th...

Good to see you back Jon I suppose.

How can you give up for three years and come back better ? We will not talk about your drive on the 13th though, that just carried the 7th green.:)

Cracking game, apart from the result. It would probably have helped if I had remembered I had a shot on 16.

Always good to play with Ian, and Adam was not only good company, but also a very tidy golfer. Shooters Hill must be the hardest course in the world if you are a 9 handicapper.:mmm:

Millionaires golf, course in great condition, decent forum partners, what was not to like ?

The only thing I couldn't work out was how 16 of 18 holes were into the wind!?!?!

As I said yesterday pretty certain that if/when I leave Shooters Hill I'm going to win my first three or four comps!

Compounded by the 5 yard top the very next shot! Always disliked that hole

Still can't believe how good the weather was or how well I was hitting my driver! I'm sure it will all go to pot next time I play (in 3 years time)

Thanks again for the invite, Dad!
