You Do Not Have to Spend a Fortune

I have been out in some very heavy rain today and thought It was worth posting how well my kit held up.

Woodworm Rain Suit cost me £29.00. Kept the rain out all day with no problem, was comfortable and did not prevent a free swing.

Stylo Legend shoes £30.00. Feet were dry as a bone despite a few treks through the rough. Perfectly comfortable and totally waterproof.

Just thought it was worth a mention as you hear praise for £200 rainsuits and £100+ shoes but yuo can get kit that does the job perfectly well without the nice label for a fraction of the cost.

Cheap Shoes

I'll second that, I got a cheap pair of Dunlop golf shoes for the princley sum of £19.99, they are comfortable and water proof.

not as cheap but my proquip pqlite set were 55 quid and my fj shoes 19.99 (both from ebay, brand new), comfy and waterproof and look good

I would never pay £300 for waterproofs or 100+ for shoes!!!

I went for the Dunlop Tour shoes £22 at the mo...they are ok over say 14 holes then feet start to burn...however 100% waterproof.
