Please don't read this as a blatant plug guys as I have the permission of Brendy and the big boss himself (Mike H) so there.

I know some of you know of our friendly little forum created for the golfers of Yorkshire. Well, it's been on the go now for almost 12 months, with its' 1st anniversary due on the 27th of this month.

With this in mind, we are in the process of organising one or two little forum competitions with several prizes available, some of which have been kindly sponsored by GM (many thanks to MikeH and the team)
Obviously we are not on the same scale as GM so we do not have the resources available which GM can afford.
We welcome golfers from Yorkshire obviously and we have gladly put behind us the idea of stoning non Yorkshire interlopers! We don't run a cricket team tha knows! Please feel free to have a look at us. http://yorkshiregolf.proboards.com

Count me in... Im married to a Yorkie girl, but have managed to drag her kicking and screaming into Lancashire.. We do have an agreement though, that at the first possible opportunity, we have to move over to North Yorkshire... I may not survive for much longer after that..

Thanks Dave, I had the same thought as there was nothing online solely for us Yorkies.
Make one yourself mate, I'm sure there'd be plenty of red rose types willing to get involved. If you need any help just let me know mate.

Obviously we're never going to compete with the likes of this great forum, but it serves a purpose in our neck of the woods.

Just had a look in. Very impressed with what I could see well done. Must be hard work though.

It's a doddle mate. Only a small forum so not a great deal to moderate.
It has quiet periods with little activity the some days it can be quite busy. Set it all up in a few hours one night last November as I had nowt better to do. Met some great guys through it and we've had a couple of forum golf days already.
Even smaller meets happen regularly, a few of the lads are competing in pairs comps over this weekend. Flying the flag for the forum!!!

We have a GM Golf towel, driver pom pom driver headcover and putter headcover up for grabs as well as a few other non GM logoed prizes.
