Yorkshire GM Forum Golf day

Well here it is, better late than never.

We are planning a GM Forum readers golf day in sunny Yorkshire. We have 3 venues to choose from, please choose one if you have a preference and also reply that you want to play or just reply if you want to play and have no preference of venue. When we have final details we'll go about setting a day to play in August(Mon - Friday). Here goes.

I have no preference for venue as would have to travel to any of them, but really want to play and will move mountains to be there.

Dont care which one though because i am traveling anyway!

No particular preference, but as it all hinges on availability on the day, it seems pointless me indicating a preference anyway if I can't make it.

Car pooling would be sensible.

HI,

I have got us penciled in for Thur 14th Aug at Doncaster Golf Club a very nice course and have had a good deal off of them £35 incl coffe/tea and a bacon sandwich i was thinking if we make it £40 then this would give us £5 to put towards prize's we need to get 25 plus for this deal as of now i have around 15.

Please let me have your thoughts i need to let them know by wed this week.

Also, just to change the topic very slightly, You say about prize money, good idea, but what about those of us without handicaps? Might have mine sorted by then but if not Can i have a 28

Well for those who dont have club H/C they will be have to be honest as to what they think it should be however if someone who say they play off of 28 comes in with 50 points well then there might be a few words said!!!

I do not have an oficial club handicap as not played this year yet, went out with the grandson and played 10 which brought the HC up to 24.1 going out this sat for a full 18 so will see what that brings.
