Hello all!

Just wanted to say hello. I've been reviewing the forum for a while and was going to join the other week. But with the influx of post Masters newbies thought I'd be a little different and leave it a while!

I played from age 10 to 17 regularly but never really practiced. Got bored (well, at that age there are so many more interesting things than golf, aren't there?) but came back 2 years ago after 7 or so years out!

I have a good long game but can't putt and recently forgot how to chip & pitch, but last fridays lesson on that should help a little with that!

Wish you all a good summers golfing and look forward to some good banter.

Cheers

Welcome - this forum is only going to speed up your return and add another dimiension to the addiction to golf - when you're not playing golf you'll be on here talking about golf.

Gill - I hope you'll be my friend on here. No-one else seems to like me anymore, I don't know what it is. I thought they found me funny but i guess not. Theyve all chosen the ignore button for my posts. I guess I don't have many friends left round here.....feel a bit silly now. I hope we get on ok though buddy.

Thanks for the welcome chaps.

Homer - shows how good my long game can be, I recently analysed my game for the pro I'm having lessons off.

Over an 8 week period I averaged three 3 putts per round.

I can't putt which means very few birdies and plenty of three putts - at least that means my iron play must be pretty good!

Hopefully with improvement around the greens I'll come down abit this term!

Hi Gill and welcome
I sympathise on the putting. The slightest thing and I wobble (mentally and probably physically!) At least the rest of your game is solid.
See you around!
