Which would you expect to go the furthest and what kind of gap would you expect between. I know it's all down to the person swinging, and without track,an etc couldn't tell conclusively, however I'm in a bit of a conundrum! I have a new Cleveland 5 wood that came with my irons free, and have the 4-PW set up in irons. Would you (collective) have driver, 3 wood, 5 wood the 4 iron, or driver, 3 wood, 3 hybrid the 4 iron, or an other set up?
5 wood is 18 deg, 3 hybrid is 19 deg and 4 iron is 21 deg. I'm a bit stuck as now have 15 clubs to deal with.........thanks.

Difficult
In essence it depends on how far each club goes..
With the 5w being 18 and the 3h 19 degrees they may well go a similar distance so it may come down to which you feel more comfortable with.
But my guess would be to drop one or the other..

Try both the 3 hybrid and 5 wood. Should go similar distances (with 5 wood being longer due to length of shaft and slightly stronger loft).

Either should fit the gap quite well between 3 wood and 4 iron.

there's also, importantly, the issue of how they feel to you and whether they have positive (or negative!) traits that make it worth their place in the bag.

generally the 5W will launch higher and deliver more spin than a 3H - this will obviously work for you in some situations. There's also the fact that what's general might not apply to you and yours!

I currently carry 3w 3h 4h and 4i dropping the 3rd wedge, not so much for distance but because they each have traits I find useful from the tee in the current conditions but the high bounce SW isn't really needed at the moment. Come the Autumn and I will probably change back.

Agreed!! After todays performance with my 5 wood, thing hybrid will be coming back!! (It was clearly the swing, not the club) but every shot bar one went way right
