I noticed a while ago the strange bandage/strapping that Yani Tseng has been wearing on her right arm/elbow. This week she's been colour-coordinating it wither her top....

Anyone know what it's for, is she carrying an injury?

"Who?" says 90% of the forum!

shes had tendonitis and elbow injury problems for a few years, hence the tape on the right arm. in a recent injury she said she has to have treatment on it after every round

Think its some sort of magical physio tape. Stretchy tape that strenghens/supports weak muscles.

I remember alot of talk about it when David Beckham was pictured with it on his ribs a while back.

Kinesio Tape probably. I've had it applied more times than I care to recall and in a variety of lurid shades!

It was pretty much the only thing that kept my hamstrings functioning during my latter rugby days. I was surprised how effective it was.

Yep. I thought it was a bit of a "fad" but it does seem effective. The removing of it is somewhat painful though!

Brought back memories of getting the sticky bandages removed from both my ankles when I was playing football. Bloody physio would do them halfway up my shin/calf and then bugger off after the game with the scissors leaving me or someone else to peel them off.

My feet and ankles would be hairless for most of the season!

Yep, I learned that the hard way!!!! Realised that it was better to shave the back of my legs and take the inevitable abuse than to rip out the hairs!!

Not being the hairy type it isn't that bad :o BUT if the end of the tape curls up a bit then it can catch the skin and nip. So I asked David to trim the edge once as it was on my back and every time I sat down it nipped me. He carefully trimmed the tape and also managed to trim a bit of me too - ouch! Never again...
