Anybody else had problems signing into yahoo mail recently?
Can't get into my account, I have the correct email and password but it keeps telling me the password is invalid. If I go to the sign in helper, it says my account can't be recovered online?? And says please visit the help site.
From there on in it just seems to go round and round in circles asking the same things over and over again and I can't get anywhere.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

I I have 2 yahoo email addresses and can't get into one. I seem to have the same problem as you once I enlist their help

im no help im afraid ,but i had the same issue with aol a couple of weeks back ,i couldnt sign in at all ,left it a day and i was able to sign in again ,not that i ever sign out.

They had a security breach a while back. It was massive and only recently did they admit to it. It could be that your account was one of the ones that was 'breached' and they've deactivated it. You'll probably need to contact them if that's the case. Of course it might not be that. Worth looking into though.

Yes, I've had this sorting out a relative's emails.

Give their customer service a contact - turned out they'd locked her account following the data breach as has been mentioned recently.

No amount of changing password etc. helped - had to get customer service to unlock the account apparently.

Ok, thanks for the replies, looks like I'll have to contact customer services then. I can't even get into the account to change the password

I've found it necessary to talk to customer service. The wait wasn't too long & the Indian chap who sorted my problem was very efficient.
