So after all of the announcements have died down which one will you be getting?

I have always preferred XBOX and pre-ordered mine yesterday (DAY ONE EDITION)

As for release day games Battlefield 4 looks unreal. Ill also pick up Fifa 14 and Forza 5 but I'm giving COD a miss.

Just imagine the set of irons I could have got with the dosh I'm spending on this lot LOL But ill need something to do on the dark winter nights so will be money well spent.

I'll be getting the xbox myself. Prefer the xbox live system. And the controller layout. Hate the analogue stick positions on PS.

Playstation equivalent of live has a lot of ground to make up to catch it. Will maybe do the job now they are charging for it .

Only issue though is the higher cost. They really shouldn't be forcing the kinect down our throats. That could have allowed a package released to match PS4 costs. Does look like the kinect system has improved greatly though. More like the first tech demo's all those years ago rather than the watered down version that went to market. Never know if EA take it on board they may be able to offer a truer swing mechanic on the next TW game so you can learn to groove that in to out swing path around the worlds top course ;).

As for games. I'm only intersted in BF4 at the moment. BF3 is still going strong for me nearly 2 years on and I play very few others.

Massively undecided on this at the moment have always been an xBox guy but I am massively swaying towards PS4 especially with price being an issue as well as the fact online gaming doesn't really interest me at all anymore. Games like COD bore me hugely and sports games onlines don't really bother me.

Going to wait a few more weeks and see what i think but will likely wait till post Christmas to get the rush of people buying them out of the way

I have & love both the 360 & PS3 but i think ill be getting the PS4 simply because the live will be free again & I don't always buy brand new games. I don't like the idea of 'having' to go online within 24 hours or Microsoft will block me from playing games and apparently with Xbox you will have to use a single use code to go online with games (I.e. from new) or pay some bullsh*t charge. Just hoping the new Halo or bungie equivalent will be multi platform.

I believe PS are now charging for live mate and Xbox have dropped the used games policy so there will be no charge for pre-owned games.

They also dropped the 'have to sign in everyday' rule or whatever crazy line it was. Don't have to be online to play a single player game as well now, i think.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Live price goes up as well to £45 but i always buy mine off ebay for about £25. Hopefully this will still be possible!

Yeah me too Amazon £30

Probably Xbox for me, my brother in law works for Microsoft so there is a bit of a staff discount to even out the initial cost.

I just prefer the Xbox controller, not sure if it is because I have big hands but I have never got on with the Dualshock and am surprised that there has not been more of a redesign for the PS4.

Xbox one for me, and is in previous posts its the layout of the controller that I prefer, son is getting ps4 for Xmas, can't convert him

Yeah they made a big song and dance about allowing used games, great marketing! Cause a stir by saying something unpopular, pretend to listen to the people and back track. Pretty sure the complexity of adding copyright code to a game disc and device which acknowledges when it's used would have cost a fortune to develop, so it would all have been talk!

Xbox one for me, but I'll wait till mid 2014 once the bugs are fixed and games are released. Plus £450 for something I'll play TW 15 and COD on seems a bit excessive lol

No one trying to convert to PC gaming?

Better graphics, more in depth game play, wider variety of input controllers, hugely more customisable?

None of this tempting bait?
