wee fella has an Xbox 360, can anyone say what this xbox live Gold thing is and is it worth having as its about £17 per quarter:rolleyes:

If he is playing online games then he will need it!

Depends on what games he has as some are better in online multiplayer

It's so he can play online against his friends. Not sure of your sons age but their can be a lot of bad language on it.

You used to be able to pick up a year subscription for £40 or so. As has been said if he is playing online then he will need it plus if you want to use pretty much any other feature on the x box you will need it.

You also get 2 free game downloads per month. They are older games but are good ones if you have not played them. also think you need gold to run Netflix etc

He needs Grand Theft Auto 5, I got my first copy aged 10 and I have not had any problems in life.

Other than the countless robbery, car jacking, GBH, bank robberies and masochistic rampages.

......non of the above actually happened. Except getting GTA.

Search around on the internet fella and you'll find a 12 month subscription for under £30 easily. Well worth getting so games can be played online and to also take advantage of the free games they are currently giving out once every couple of weeks. In my opinion, if you have an Xbox 360 then you HAVE to have a Live membership to get the most out of the console. If you'll be upgrading to the Xbox One in a couple of months time then your membership will roll over to that, so no need to buy again.
