Just wondering what lofts you would go with
15* is fairway- 17+19 and 22 are hybrids

15*-17*-22*

15*-19*-22*

15*-19*- 4 Iron

15*-17*- 4 iron

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Not only loft to take into account if the hybrids are from different manufacturers - what about length?

Also, depends on how your distance gaps work out, imho. HTH?

I'm a newbie and got hopelessly carried away in most of the ping g20 delights...

I went, 10.5, 15, 17, 23, 31 plus the irons came with a 4. The bags very top heavy, so I leave out the driver and 17 (mainly because I slice the driver and havnt spent much time on the 17)

Typical, all the gear.... :whoo:

I use

15.5 hybrid
19 hybrid / 2i in height of summer
22 hybrid

then 5 iron. I grip down a touch on the 22H for 4 iron distance.

I wouldn't carry both a 17' and a 19' degree hybrid, too similar for me. I go from 18' 5W (don't carry a 3W) to 22' hybrid, then 24' 4 iron.

You need to look at how far you hit each club and then consider the gapping you require.

My gapping is:

10.5 driver
15 3 wood
3 Hybrid
5 Hybrid
5 iron

Driver is usually 220 - 230
3 wood 210
19 degree 3 hybrid 195
25 degree 5 hybrid 180
5 iron 165
6 iron 150

I basically have around 15 yds between each of my clubs but can squeeze out or drop 5 yds or so as and when required.

The 5 hybrid was a surprise as it hits the balls miles from any lie and is the one club that I would never drop. The 19 degree hybrid goes the same distance as my 5 wood but is more versatile so the 5 wood is in the attic and will likely end up on ebay.
