After losing a ball in short rough after a decent drive it got me thinking... if there was an approved system for tracking balls would you ever want it? At first I was thinking I wish there was something like this in place as would definitely help with my scoring (but so would everybody else)
so I googled and found this ; http://www.radargolf.com/products/
It says no longer available so i'm guessing discontinued/not an approved piece of kit.
Would anybody ever want it? on reflection I don't think I would... losing balls as infuriating as it can be(especially after a good shot you'd expect to find) is part of the game.
With all the tracking and GPS software out there now do you think this would be a future development? I couldn't see the R&A ever approving
