So, I popped to the range and bumped into a veteran member of my club. He had a brand new set of clubs, the make of which I couldn't see but are custom made and he got them in the USA
What was so different was that they, 5 to p/w, are all made with the same length of shaft and same overall weight. The only difference was the loft and They were built in a 7 iron shaft length. I didn't like the look or the idea but the owner said, for him, they all went straight
I can't see hitting a p/w with a 7 iron length shaft any more sense than using a 5 iron with that shaft
Any thoughts?
