Worst Songs And Videos From The 1980s

I felt inspired by two recent threads about best lines and scenes from the movies.

This one will take some beating. Got to number 2 in the UK charts and number 1 in many other countries.
The video is so cheap and cheesy, but matches the awfulness of the song, I suppose.
If I heard this during the course of a night out in The Toon, I felt like going outside to vomit.
Come on, I'm sure many of you can remember some absolute horrors.
PS: Shaddapyourface gets a pass, as I found it amusing the first time I heard it - never needed to hear it again though.

"Jilted John" was 1970s and I remember it with some fondness, because one of our crowd was called Gordon. Very likeable lad and he took it well when we belted it out with gusto.

Loved the single (in fact I bought it 12” vinyl single); the video is rubbish.

Low cost, v low tech, all in all pretty rubbish video (apart from…), but unfortunately IMO this is a cracking single from the same year (I think) as LipsInc.

Must go dig the memory banks for a truly rubbish single and video (I am thinking Clive Dunn or Brian and Michael may feature)
