Just want to say thanks to all the GM team who made the day at Worsley Park so enjoyable yesterday. Also, thanks to David, Steve and Alec who I played with. Course was challenging off the whites and certainly had some interesting pin positions but was in great nick considering all the rain recently. Highlight for me was a 5 iron to 2 feet on the 7th winning nearest the pin but the highlight of the day was certainly the hole in one at the 11th which was probably the toughest par 3 on the course.

Mike mentioned there are still places at Breadsall Priory next week so if you haven't already entered I'd certainly recommend the day. Great value, great company and well organised. If it wasn't so far I'd have another bash at qualifying myself.

Yep, i'll second that. Great day and I thought the course was in superb condition. Tough of the whites, some hard pins and playing long as there was little roll on the fairways. Had a meagre 12 points on the front, but somehow managed to only drop 2 shots on the back nine for 21pts. Thought I was in with a shout but just missed out on the trip to the Forest of Arden .

Thanks GM and good luck to the winners !!!

Big thanks to all the staff , played the course a few weeks ago off the yellow tee didn’t think it was that hard but playing off the whites completely different course never had to hit as many long irons into the greens with no bad drives , never used my 9 iron only used 8 iron once on the par3 15th finished with 30 points, nice to meet with Alan, Danny, and of course the one hole wonder Gordon and well done to the other winners

An excellent day although I feel that I should say sorry to my playing partners for my 19 point total! :-(

Should also say sorry to anyone who was put off by the many shouts of FORE. Thankfully I don't think the shots came close to causing any damage.

Thanks to Graham, Alan and the "hole in one" and now "qualified for the final" Gordon.

May see if I can go to the next one and see if I can beat 19 points???

Big thanks to the GM boys for organising this. Thought I may have had a chance with 35 points, but not to be. I'd love to know who had upset the Greenkeeper, every pin seemed to be on the edge of a slope!!! 5 3-putts in total for me (I expect this being an awful putter) and one of the guys who I played with who could putt, had a 4-putt!!
