World Matchplay group names

I've always thought I've had a reasonable knowledge of golf but was stumped this morning when I tuned in to watch the matchplay and saw the group names.

Assar Gabrielsson? Gustaf Larson? Not heard of these Major winners before! So googled them......turns out they are the founder and former chief engineer of Volvo, the event sponsor.

Phew...I can sleep easy tonight

Yeah poor field but at least the course looks top notch, Europe's answer to Pebble Beach?

Is a field containing Stenson, Poulter, Ogilvy, Olesen, Molinari, McDowell, Hansen, Grace, Castano, Colsaerts and Donaldson a bad field? Seems good for a European tour event in my opinion.

Does look a fantastic course but can't get excited by the event. Not a world matchplay without an influx of the big American names
