But surely the 2 managers in The Middle East & Holland got the full “Hendo experience” didn’t they?
I'd somehow forgot those blots on his otherwise legendary career

He’s more likely to be a legend in Newcastle than at any clubBut surely the 2 managers in The Middle East & Holland got the full “Hendo experience” didn’t they?
For me the last few times he's come on for England he's been like an excitable puppy. Trying to play worldy passes and running like a headless chicken down a dead alley. I'm not sure that shores up a team holding on for a win.
He's just not for me. If we want an experienced has-been let's take Milner

If it’s for experience why not take Geoff Hurst, he knows how to win the thing.
How good would that be double World Cup winner 60 years apart![]()
Rather have MGW than both of them tbh.
The lad scores goals something we need if Kane isn’t on top form.
How can you forget that he moved to Saudi to “grow the game”?I'd somehow forgot those blots on his otherwise legendary career![]()

World Cup 2026: Lionel Messi to represent Argentina at sixth tournament
Lionel Messi will play in a sixth World Cup as he captains holders Argentina at the 2026 tournament.www.bbc.co.uk
Think they will have to rely on Alvarez to step up this World Cup - think it’s one too far for Messi
But, Tuchel clearly likes Madueke, so there can be no arguments about him being in the squad.MGW definitely should be in that squad ahead of Madueke - it’s staggering he wasn’t chosen
His defence is Henderson played for Liverpool, thats it.But, Tuchel clearly likes Madueke, so there can be no arguments about him being in the squad.
At least, that would be a consistent argument with your defence of Henderson being selected
He was more than worthy of his place a few years back and is probably still very good around the training ground/squad.He’s more likely to be a legend in Newcastle than at any club
He’s never been a world class footballer or imo even a top footballer. He’s functional and good at being shouty, bit like Jordan Pickford without the ability
A quick google of his stats shows in a playing career spanning 617 games a total of 12 man of the match awards. What an influential CM player he is
He was ok at Ajax but that doesn’t say much does it Anthony looked world class there! and Saudi is hardly decent level of football is it.
I would say James starts but has requested his Chelsea number.Englands WC Squad numbers....clues as to TT's preferred starting 11 ?
