Words In Songs

Either my hearing has improved dramatically, or something has happened to the way radio airs songs. I can actually hear the words to all the old songs. :thup:

Can't say I've noticed anything different on radio 2 (it plays at work, not my choice) but maybe they're using a 'clear voice' option on whatever channel you're listening to like you get on tv set up options these days? If it's a digital track I guess they could boost the vocal parts and fade the instruments somehow.

Sadly I'm going in the other direction. I'm getting criticised for having the TV and radio too loud. And in discussions I'm saying "eh?" too often.

I'm listening on a DAB radio at work (to Heart 80's), but I've noticed it on my "normal" radio in the car.

a work mate used to sing along to the old songs ,we had no problem with it,its just that he said they keep singing the wrong words to what he sings.
