Mostly anyway.....
Still a couple of squidgy bits roped off but fairways and greens firming up nicely.
The greens are also speeding up
But they're not very true so putting is hard work.

First time I've played 18 for a Month - my game was a mess but it was good to be out in the dry.

Anyone else still suffering...?

Still suffering with the course? No ours is all good. Bit damp under the trees lining the first but ok other than that.

Still suffering with my game? Always.

You wouldn't know it hd rained looking at our place at the moment. Unbelievable how quickly it's dried out. But then it's raining now so be a bit damp by the weekend

Our course is known locally to be very wet. Its currently the driest I've ever seen it as this time of year, some of the holes look burnt like they would late summer.
Our greens where verticut yesterday and are speeding up very quickly. They will have jumped up in pace quite dramatically from last weekend. I can see my playing partners at the weekend suffering with lack of practice.

Ours is drying out nice just showing the scars from a long hard winter. Greens were terrible at the weekend but that was down to the fact the staff couldn't do anything with them due to the snow. They were great before but need a cut now. Roll on a few weeks and we'll be laughing.

Glad you got out for 18 eventually!

Playing tomorrow but reports are the course is in really good condition. We are back on grass tees, fairways are all running well and the greens are speeding up and running true now they have been cut shorter.
Can't wait to get out there and hit the new big dog!

Mines is still really struggling , it was under three ft of snow till two weeks ago, greens are a disaster. My other course is still under snow.

Out last night for a few holes. Considering the weather in the last 9 months, the course is doing ok. There are a lot of areas of ground that were dug up after being flooded last year and they're in the process of filling them in now. We have a couple of temp greens where they laid new drainage under existing greens that struggled with rain last year. The remaining 16 greens are very shaggy, very sandy and very bumpy - putting is tough.

We need a wee bit of rain and then a lot of warm sunshine. Nothing has grown on the course for about 9 months and it really needs some time to bed in. But we've just had an update from the Captain on the work that's planned in the near future and it looks as though we'll have our golf course back pretty soon :) So long as there's no more snow...

We were drying out quite nicely with just a few patched needing some work - areas at the ends of paths etc - and the greens speeding up not quite as scary as last summer but enough to make you think about keeping your approach below the hole!

Hopefully the rain in the last couple of days won't have done too much!

Played my course on Tuesday and it was bone dry. It rained heavily through Tuesday night and most of Wednesday. Played yesterday and conditions were almost as swamp-like as they were a month ago. Just goes to show that given the year we have had that the problem is lurking just below the surface, or on it as I found out. :(

This rain just what ours needs, was getting a bit on the dry side already and they are due to core the greens monday and tuesday, should be spot on for them to do that now

I am sure that those who played at my place last week will agree that it is in remarkable condition considering the weather. Fairways are dry except right on the edge of any water hazards and the greens are quick and true. Really looking forward to this weekend as the course has just had a maintenance week (Basically shut 9 holes at a time to get it in top nick for the season) so should be playing to its best.
