Woohoo..heavy rain forecasted...wait what?

Well the Met office is forecasting heavy rain for Tuesday up here in Yorkshire.
It does feel odd for a golfer to pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster for some heavy rain which is usually our bane, but here I am muttering please...please rain! (You never know might be able to get out and do the New Years Day round woopee!)
Anybody else got rain forecasted to get rid of the snow?

Can't believe the forecasts at all. We had no or little snow forecast over the last week.......had two days where we had at least 6 inches dropped each day, and other flurries at times....

I went to the course yesterday, asst. pro reckons it will be next year before we get back on the course.

Current forecast, sunny until Monday with lights snow forecast then....

Rain forecast early next week although they are saying it might come down as sleet or snow. Don't care what happens but I need to get out there soon

Not sure this is going to help though unless your course really drains well. All that snow turns to water so it just becomes really boggy so you are hitting off mud.
