nice one smiffy, I'll be using that site again. looking forward to next saturday now!

Really useful website with reviews by people who have paid to play the courses rather than been given a "freebie" to bum the place up.
I rate it very highly

I have played it lots of times. It is quite a challenging course especially of the blacks (pro tee) we had to play in a club match against them .It is relatively long especially the back nine and it does get quite wet and boggy in places especially around 7, 8 and 9 (or it did about 4 years ago when I last played it at this time of year).

I think if you can play to your handicap you will have done well. The clubhouse is pretty friendly and the food is decent too. Beware that there is a lot of water on it (about 10 holes from memory) and the rough can be quite thick and penal but it is a good test of golf

Hi
we played this 2 years running for a New Years' bash. One year 3 holes were closed due to rain.
Wouldn't rate it for scenic qualities - felt a bit bare on the back 9, but plenty of hazards - def not easy for high handicappers as we were. I remember greens were in good nick, but .

enjoy yourselves!
