Challenge Tour Pro
played in the wirral classic last week and thought i should write a review
very professionally run by helen and her team,
one of the best value for money competitions out there,£360 worth of greens for £219 plus prizes for the top 20 players, its a 4 round stableford comp with the winner been the one with the most points, also daily prizes , also a local restaurant would do a free half way house, and put special deals on for players on a evening.3 course with a drink for £20, its more about promoting the wirral and getting people to go there in the future ,we stayed in hoylake which was great,
wallasey ,really good links course up there with the best on em,couldnt knock it 8.5
heswall, nice parkland track with great views of the river dee 7.5
caldy ,enjoyable mixture half links half parkland, play the links ones right on the dee,17th excellent par 3
royal liverpool, steeped in history, and best greens ive been on this year, and they had had alot of rain which prob slowed them up, not the power packed finish of a turnberry or a carnoustie, but very well maintained ,5th through to 15 carnt knock them,
anyone who like good value for money golf trips this is the one for you ,i will be there next year for sure
