:( Winds of over 100 mph this morning closing the Tay Road Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and Friarton Bridge. All trains suspended. This preceeded a cold front coming through. It is now baltic and snowing at sea level! :(

:ears:

Bit breezy up the cassocks here in Berkshire and rain threatening but pretty good. Hope our Scottish contingent (and families) remain safe and courses aren't too deep in snow. Reports on BBC news this morning did look grim

Nice morning on the course for a quick round the Duchess. But breezy though

we had a wee smidgen of snow this morning, its gone now though.

Same amount down London way would close M1, M25, M4 and A1 for the rest of the day and traffic jams everywhere.

And its heading your way;)

Was driving to Manchester Royal this morning at 10 am and not far behind a 70ft tree landed on a van. Amazingly he wasn't badly injured.

Bit more snow now, bang goes my game in the morning, mind you i didn't fancy playing in 70MPH winds.

Down the road at Lossiemouth they had 83MPH and on the west coast 114MPH, now that is what you call Breezy;)

Sounds like a normal day down in the Falklands :D

BBC was showing pretty grim pics north of the border...

If The Scots vote 'Yes', then Salmond has promised Mediterranean weather all year round... Now of this Brit-Baltic nonsense.
