Do you have any snowy pictures of your course.
I wonder if Mike H. would publish the best? :)

Sorry Dodger, haven't been near a golf course in months. Everything looks pretty much like Bobmacs first photo with some hills thrown in!
This is me, my 2 lads (one papoosed) and our newish kitten at the weekend, only a little snow this week but a balmy -16 this morning.

Bob can I book a 9.30 tee time for Monday morning please, that looks like a great track.

Drawboy, having seen the forecast for the next few days, if you want to play at 9.30 on Monday, I don't think you will need to book ;)

Here are some photos my pal in Nairn just posted on his Facebook page of a recent "Kummel" challenge game there. There's dedication.

I think it's fair to say they're playing winter greens.

:D :D

It would have to be a "shot" per hole, eh Dodger? That'll make for a few bottles. May have to source a few bottles for Castle Stuart. It's fine stuff.

As if it's not hard enough.......

....the conditions for the "closest the pin" comp were some of the trickiest ever seen at the NGC....but at least it was still balmy enough to play in shirt sleeves.

Well, managed up to the club today for a bit of winter relaxation. Went for a walk over the back nine and a bit of sledging !

Our Clubhouse and the 18th Green, the flat white bit a little below the clubhouse ;)

Saw plenty of people sledging and even someone snowboarding !

Whilst on the subject of snow, perhaps someone in the Scottish contingent can confirm or disabuse for me...

Am I imagining it, or am I correct in recalling that at Grantown on Spey GC, there is (or was) a sign saying that in winter, skiers have precedence... ?

Just seems a bit apposite at the moment

As a former member of GoS for 5 years or so I honestly can't recall seeing a sign saying that. They do put fences round some of the greens to stop sledgers runnning over the greens though the sledgers/skiers are free to sledge/ski everywhere else on the course (14th mainly).
