So living in newfoundland Canada in winter I have the following problems.

1) no indoor ranges;
2) 3ft of snow from jan to around mid April.;
3) freezing conditions from November to April;
4) outdoor range open but not floodlit, so no practise post 6pm.

So I was considering buying an strike mat and place it on my decking and when it gets too cold relocating to my garage and set up the netting in there........I'm not interested in doing full bloodied shots in the garage as the follow through could da,age the roof!

I'm thinking little flobs, chips etc, anything to keep some semblance of a swing going over the winter.

Being here has made me realise how lucky I was back in Aberdeen, you ad the kings links range open 18hrs a day all year round, even my local club back home had a decent range which closed at 9pm during the winter and was floodlit!!

Nevermind I'll be going back someday..........

Back to my question, any advice on the range mat, I have a little callaway one, to save my landlords grass but I was thinking in getting a full sized mat so any advice?

Cheers
Andy
