Seems like no time since we were out playing on balmy Summer evenings at this time of day.

Looking out right now at 4.17 the fog from this morning is returning, it's almost dark and the clocks have only just gone back.

It's going to be a long 5 months.

Bah!

Was at the course this morning at 7 by 9:30 was in short sleeve with some still in shorts - was a lovely day with no doubt people finishing their rounds right now

Still light here and just back from walking the dogs in a really balmy afternoon. Short sleeves all day 14 degrees this afternoon. If you think this is winter... just wait!

Down here in Berks we've been fog-bound most of the day with the comp scuppered by a closure around 9 until 11
Beautiful all day here and looks like it's going to last a little bit longer as well

It was misty/foggy at 8am when we teed off but by 10.30 it was sunny and warm - long nay it last!

Don't worry Phil sure you'll get your share of fog just now :D

It was supposed to be here and when I drove in this morning you could see the patches but was all gone by 7:30 - no doubt with the humidity and the cold nights we will have some coming soon. Thankfully the course doesn't get hit that badly

We shouldn't have played today in all honesty, is was only by using mobiles were able to do so safely, no real enjoyment seeing your ball disappear after 70 yards and have not aimpoint for shots into greens.

We are having a fantastic spell of weather up here at the moment, shorts and short sleeves again today. Bit windy to start with but fine later.
Played at Tain today and its was better than the middle of summer.

Yesterday it was over 16.deg at 9.30, not sure how long its going to last.

Whenever conditions are conducive to fog it makes a beeline for our place, as it's really the lowest open spot on the leeward side of the biggest hill for miles around.

Drove up from Southampton to Mansfield today. Winchester, Newbury, Oxford, Northampton, M1.

it was strange, very strange. Never pea soup fog, but bad enough for stopping golf. A mile later glorious. Five mile later fog stopped play. Like that for 200 miles

Absolutely stunning weather in East Lothian today. Teed of at 10am, in t-shirt after 3 holes. I can't ever remember playing in just a t-shirt in November before.

In the car at 3pm heading home, temp sensor said 15.5C - long may it continue.

It was lovely yesterday, and the 1st tee was fairly full. I'd prefer it to be a bit colder so the fair weather golfers will have packed up for winter.

Played in t shirt today , course in perfect condiion . last 18 of the year , down to 13 hole winter league now , don't mind the cold but when the frozen temp greens are the norm , you can keep that

at the course for 815 this morning, but quite foggy, walking to the first tee and all looked OK, by tee off time we couldn't see the green (170yrds), then on the second it had practically cleared when we reached the green. warm enough to remove one layer too

Beautiful sunny afternoon, that is until we reached the second tee! Fog closed in and ruined the day. We soldiered on though. Laser was useless even on the holes we coud just about make the pin out on. Guessing game on the approach shots!
