Does anybody else find that golf courses tend not to be very honest about the condition off their courses?? Especially in the winter months?? As our course gets a bit wet in winter we try and go away to other courses to play. After last weekend though I won't be bothering going anymore, we called and booked a round at a course and we specifically asked if the greens had been cored, they told us no, so we traveled and paid, got to the first green and ok and behold ...cores!! That look like they had been done with a scaffolding pole!!!! To say I was raging would be an understatement!! There was also a massive amount of sand on them, borderline unplayable IMO.
Naturally I complained and was given the option of coming back to play a free round but must be done before 31st December!

this is something Iv been seeing a trend in from golf courses last few years and Iv had enough,

Anybody else seeing this happen where they live??
