From October my club will go into its winter programme and have changed it up a bit.
Every member will be put on a 'ladder' ranked in handicap order.
You can then 'challenge' someone 2 places above you on the ladder to a Scratch matchplay. If you beat them (or they can't make the 3 dates you offered) then you swap places on the ladder.
You can't challenge anyone below you.
Never played matches against anyone before, nevermind played matchplay so really looking forward to seeing how high up the ladder I can go.
Any other clubs do anything similar?
