Has anyone ever played wearing winter golf gloves for both hands?

Whilst looking round the local golf store on Saturday I noticed a stack of FootJoy winter gloves at the cash point. I tried them on and they have a real fleecy feel to the backs of the hands but a thinner smoother feel to the palms. I tried gripping a club with them and it was a strange feeling to say the least(I have an interlocking grip).

Has anyone ever used these before?

No way. Think it looks awful when people have two golf gloves on.

What was the feel like wearing them?

strange, very strange....kinda like trying to tie your shoelaces with big woolly mittens on!!!

In fairness, the guy did say that they have shifted about 15 pairs so far and they have only been on sale for a few weeks....£14.99 per pair

Since I was stupid enough to buy two gloves for the wrong hand, I will be wearing two gloves in the coldest of the winter.

had, maybe still have, a pair of AG winter gloves - £4/pr. similar to the footjoy, fleecy back and 'grip' palm.
most odd to play with them on (also interlock) and the palms wore very quickly.

problem is I can't be bothered with putting gloves on and taking them off, usually dropping one in the mud at some point, but cold/wet hands is also an annoyance. what to do?

I have winter gloves but they're not much good in really cold weather as they have to be tight.
Mitts def keep the hands warmer, once you get the hang of managing them - and no grip problems

Got a Footjoy rain glove. It's the only time I wear one now and it does work, though maybe a grippier grip might make that unnecessary. Any recommendations?

I bought the Footjoy winter gloves and used them a couple of times last year. They do take a bit of getting used to initially as they are thicker, I took to wearing just the one on my right hand with a normal glove on the left, but when it got really cold I reverted to the pair. You do get used to them, although I'm tempted to go for mittens this year.

I have considering buying the Footjoy winter gloves, I find messing about with mittens a pain, so £15 is not too bad a price to pay for warm hands, and if its that cold the greens will have frozen and so its more practice than studying the green for 5 minutes pre miss.
