Winter Golf at Turnberry

Just got booked in for an overnight with the missus at Turnberry in late February. She is an understanding wee soul and has agreed to me taking the clubs, as long as she can go to the spa - done deal me thinks!

They are looking for £80 a round on the Ailsa. I take it they dont have you playing off mats or kicking into the rough for that price?

Or do they? Has anyone played it in the Winter?

Scrap that,just asked my ayrshire pal.If it's been frosty the par 3's will have mats on the tee.Other than that, your good.
