Amazingly i won my first club competition in over 30 years last weekend. (I did stop playing for a lot of these years!) It was a winter foursomes knockout which commenced before the snow in January.
We won the final 2 and 1, and i had the pleasure of holing a six footer to win the cup. My partner played most of the good golf, but i am good at making up the numbers!!
The last competition i won was also a foursomes one, so i realise that the secret to success is to pick your partners well.
I know foursomes is not everyones favourite form of the game, but i must admit i really enjoy this type of 'team golf'.
Can't wait to see our names on the winners board, and to be able to point them out to our mates every time we play
