Is it just me or does anyone else suffer with golf related SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)?

I thought we might have dodged the winter bullet as we've managed to play through the winter so far bar a few winter days but looking at the forecast it looks bloody freezing.

I am cheesed off with the winter now, come back spring/summer.

Looking forward to golfing events this year and watching the blue skies in the US via the US Golf on Sky has well left me SAD!

Rant over!

Dan

To be honest apart from some of our Scottish and more northerly English bretheren who had hefty snow before Christmas the majority of us have got away quite likely this year. OK we've had temps but not the course being shut for weeks on end like last year and to be honest as long as there isn't a massive wind chill on top of a temperature around the zero mark I'm happy to play. Its when the wind makes it feel -7 and you can't feel your feet or hands that it really becomes a futile exercise. I take winter golf with a large pinch of salt and just try and enjoy the company rather than the score and use it to work more on my swing at the range to get ready for Spring

Without tempting fate (which I may be, looking at the forecast!), we have been really lucky so far this winter. I've played every Saturday and Sunday morning since Christmas and pretty much every one of those rounds has been played in sunshine. We have had some frosty mornings and the wind the other week, but no rain, which has been great. I guess conditions underfoot haven't been perfect but I'm loving it! I am however ithcing for the season to start and for those long summer evenings to arrive! :D
