I don't mean that when it's cold they shrivel up !!

What balls do you use in Winter ?? I hate loosing plugged pro v1's, or loosing them under leaves when you just miss the fairway !

I'm a fan of the Srixon AD333 and also the Srixon Soft feel, but are their any cheaper alternatives that don't feel as though your hitting a brick wall??

NXT's and so lo's are a good ball for the winter, I know the feeling losing a pro v in the rough. I always try and hit it straighter in the winter it tightens up ur game. good luck

When it's cold you should play a very low compression ball like a lady's ball - dont laugh it's true!

I use nxt's in the winter. They are very good in the colder conditions, ive just used the new nxt tour and im very impressed.Ithink the nxt has changed to nxt extreme.Idont like to lose my prov's either epecialy when the courses are wet and it plugs and disappears.

Pinnacle exception are decent, feel quite soft off the face and are cheap. However i miss the spin i used to get off pro v1s for shot shots

HI Lloydy, give the new nxt tours a try they are very good around the greens and you can get a good amount of spin they are obvoiusly not as good a the prov but they are very good. And no i dont work for Titleist lol.

I tried the AD333 and the Warbird last weekend and found that the warbird a far better all round ball, the AD333 feels great but lacks a lot of distance to the warbird.

Pro V1 :D £3 a ball lol yeah right as if I would spend that on a ball.

Unfortunately at my club we are on temp greens most of the winter and spin dosen't come anywhere near needed. I put all this talk about spin on tv comentators and the coverage. I dont get that much spin. How many times have we sat watching tv and see some pro landing 3 - 4 feet from the pin then spinning back 20 foot away. if that happened to me I'm be real cross. Look guys it's winter golf, we're not pro's why do we need spin?
