Wind or Rain ?????

Without doubt strong wind. This is the bain of my life when it comes to golf. Do not have the skills to keep the ball low and my higher loft driver suffers badly.

I would start in any but once the grips are too wet thats it for me.

Wind does not bother me at all. The wind is usually east or west which results in most holes being played with a cross wind at my course. It's only a few par 3's that are played into/with wind

You can buy rain gloves but you cant buy wind balls! Lol, well am still learnin how to hit the ball so strong winds for me just throw me completly, i will still play in either but the choice would be rain!

Rain for me. Wind just makes the challenge more difficult, it doesn't make clubs impossible to grip or keep dry, it doesn't mean you need windscreen wipers on your glasses and no matter whether you have Galvin green or dunlop watersuits on you'll feel soaked. Urrgghhh.

Would prefer nice sunny weather but I'll play in any conditions, growing up in Scotland and then living in N Ireland for 10 years I would hardly of played golf if I was to fussy about the weather, anyway, wind or rain just add different challenges to be overcome if I want to be a better golfer.

Rain without a doubt. I spent enough of my time sitting in freezing cold rain match fishing to want it with golf too. I don't mind it raining once I'm out there, but I'd rarly go out if it looked set for the round.

wind, on the other hand, I'd happily play in. It adds to the challenge.

definintely rain, I can just about negotiate the wind but stick me in the rain and my game goes to pot.

If it was light rain to strong wind though I would say that the strong wind was more likely to prevent me playing. I do however think this post has been set up in a way which will recieve biased answers...light rain...strong wind. How about keeping the variables the same and then it would be more interesting. ;)

I don't mind the wind, as Brendy says it tightens up your game. I love seeing a shot played well into the wind reacting.

Dont mind the rain, but if the gloves and grips get wet it's time for a pint.
