Anyone used these irons? My brother-in-law is looking for a basic set and I saw these in JJB for £79.99. (Apparently reduced from £170ish). Any good, or a total waste of dosh?

Mark, a pro once gave my friend some advice.

We brought a set of used Calloway x18 in mint condition for 150 last year, my mate will have them a dew years and still make atleast 100 back

I have to be honest and say I'd rather save up for a better set if I didn't have the money or shop around for other makes and models. I'm sure there would be good clubs like Ping G5, Cally X16, 18 or 20, Mizzy MX range and even older versions of the TM Burner which would do a better job and have some sort of resale (if only marginal - still more than the Ultra) value
