Pretty sure it has not been there for years unless they have re-located........Sainsbury's now.

As Doon says the Wilson factory is now a Sainsbury car park, heard its going to close as well.

That's what I hear, Doon. There never seems to be that many using the place, Tesco is always mobbed and is pretty much next door. Still, gossip being gossip it may not be true but I've heard it from 2 or 3 people now.

Yeah, they still do fitting & the factory is based in Irvine although I think you need to be referred by a pro for fitting at Wilson as they do not retail direct as I've been told.

Whereabouts is the factory now? Didn't realise it had moved, thought it had lay empty for years before being bulldozed.

No, it is free market economics. Choice of three competing superstores within 500 yards.
Seems it can go wrong sometimes.
