Wilson custom fit Irons in Scotland

I'm really interested in getting custom fitted with a set of Wilson Ci9 irons & was wondering if anyone knew if you can go to Wilson direct for a fitting & once you have your readings take them to however offers the best price. Or do you need to be referred by a club pro / shop?

I suspect there may not be a great deal of difference in the prices anyway, the fitters still want to make a sale after all is said and done.

The 'cheaper' prices offered may also be for more 'stock' options which may work well in your favour if those are the clubs that are recommended for you.

I'd be interested to know how you get on too. I'm very impressed with the Wilson clubs already in my bag and I think when I come to replace anything I'll certainly consider Wilson near the top of my list.

Finding quite a few places are offering custom fit orders for reasonable prices but still to chat with club pro to see what he can offer as would rather go that way but every penny a prisoner in present climate!
Never been a huge fan of Wilson kit till recently, heard great things about the Ci9 irons & they look quite good as well, a mate has the Di9 but I found them ugly as sin & hate the fatshaft they have.

theres a place in irvine called amer sports and they are the main wilson custom fitters. the guy who does the fitting andy clift is really good at what he does, he used to work out on tour. i'm not sure if you can book a fitting through them because i had to do it through my local pro
