But you're right, I probably won't resist the temptation to head to the range if it does arrive.

I also hope it behaves. It will be interesting though as since it was setup (for my horrendous out to in over the top swing), my swing has begun to change, so although it's coming setup for my swing...it's no longer my swing, so I'll probably have to fiddle with the setup a bit before I get the full potential out of it. I'm more than happy to persevere with it though because I've seen the results it gives (with Steve and Alan).

She's convinced I've been stitched up by some dodgy geezers

I was delivered a cruel blow last night. I got home from work to find a UPS "we could not deliver" card in my letterbox.

I smugly claimed to HID "Ha! I told you it would arrive today!"....only to then read the card that it was for a Mr. Watts at number 18 (I'm number 16) followed by a "Told you so" from HID. I felt like I'd been kicked in the spondoolies

Just while your talking about set-ups, did all three of you get the same length of shaft? If so, is it the same length you get in the shops? Didn't see it mentioned in the mag.

Yep, standard length, but then we were all of similar build/size.

Both myself and Steve got fitted for the Stiff shaft and I think Alan got a custom stiff (or x-stiff) shaft which was slightly heavier than the standard Blur.

I did notice from the mag that you were all about the same height. I was just wondering if they fitted you for length because I find TM drivers pretty loooong...pros seem to be using much shorter drivers than us amateurs.

I think TM use longer shafts so the ball goes that little bit further, thereby making the golfer (well some anyway) think that TM drivers are longer than their rivals
