Now we all know this Tiger debate , injured or not , love him or not but will he play in the PGA , he has cancel his press conference today so what can we read into that , if he plays then what happen last week was his pride getting hurt , I think he won`t play as he is indeed injured and has made it easy for Tom Watson and his picking of the Ryder cup Team and Tiger not Losing any face by being dropped , No matter what you think of him his Playing record has earn him the right to be respected as a top Golfer , comments please

Caddy on site going through the motions so you'd think he must be expecting to use the information and yardages. If it truly was a spasm then he may be able to play. Not sure we should read too much into the cancelled press conference if he wanted to get treatment or work privately on his swing

I'm guessing that sponsors put a LOT of pressure on players to make an appearance in a major tournament even if they're not 100%.
Tiger certainly isn't the first sportsperson for this to affect them (Ronaldo in the world cup?) and sometimes their performance is lack-lustre and it alienates the fans - even though they really want to see their idol play well.
If I were Tom Watson right now, I'd be doing the right thing and telling him he won't be making the RC team. His form is flakey, his fitness is questionable and his RC record is decidedly average at best. Opponents are no longer phased or intimidated by him (not like they were before anyway in the RC) and he is basically a weak "let's keep the sponsors happy" pick.
I think deep down Tiger knows it, but the original fighting attitude and spirit won't let him throw the towel in. And sadly, neither will his pay masters.

Is there a don't care option ??
It may be a cliche, but if tiger woods was teeing off in my back garden I wouldn't open the curtains to watch him:thup:

Yesterday's man

I would , I asked him what does he think he is doing in my garden and point him to the nearest range
