Thought I would share my disgust at the wife coming home from a friendly game today with a friend..

literally bounded though the door, shoved the card at me..

49 points!!!

may as well chuck my clubs and take up Tiddly Winks!

I checked and double checked.. and then checked again.

she just said.. love winter golf, hard ground, and the ball carried lots..

so I just iterated.. do it again tomorrow when we play together ;)

Was it temp greens, i.e. half a course with bucket holes. Sadly she'll be reminding you of this for a while irrespective of tomorrows game

You didn't mention what her handicap was. That may help defuse the despair.
Her Handicap is 31, although mines only 27 playing, so not a lot of difference

Hi Homer, it was all temps, which are all on the aprons of the main greens, and all Standard size holes, no buckets!

Oh and she is talking about framing the card!!!

More impressed she was happy to go out in this weather.

My lady would be moaning non stop about the cold.

So how did the round with the free scoring wife go?

Would imagine not to good, if it had gone well he would of been on here four hours ago.

well, Her indoors woke up with a stinking cold.. so I went out with my 12 yr old...

and I failed .. 30 points :(

FFS, even when she is ill, I still got the proverbial taken ;)

In chronological order:

I taught my ex to play golf

She became better at golf than me.

She became my ex.
