Didn't want to highjack the Footjoy thread but with the talk of people having issues with Fj can anybody recommend alternatives that come in a wide fitting.

Don't discount FJ because a few people have had issues, there are plenty of us that have had no issues at all. You'll also find that there are people who have issues with other manufacturers.

Adidas do a wide fit shoe, I think Puma and Nike are quite generous in their build and while the box doesn't say wide they can be very comfortable. I write from experience as my current Puma's are excellent.

I haven't Hawkeye. I have never had a problem. I only use Footjoy because they do a wide fitting. I have always found the quality good and they last. Just looking at options

Some Eccos, not sure which, come with a second insole that is supposed to address the wide fitting issue. Not entirely sure how that works but it might be worth investigating.
