What games do we play to add spice to our friendly fourballs on a Sunday morning?
My personal favorite is WWW&HS - points awarded on each hole - 1 pt for longest drive on the fairway, 1 pt for 1st ball on the green, 1 pt for 1st ball in the hole and 2 pts deducted for a three putt (which includes putts from off the green. This combination allows for all handicaps and abilities without bothering about actual scores.

Sounds like too much thinking for me on a Sunday morning.

We keep it simple (cos we're simple). Points game.

4 ball - 4pts to lowest score, 3 - second....etc - points split in case of a tie
3 ball - 3pts to lowest score, 2 - second...etc

Again, doesn't mean you have to score well, just better than yer mates.

Hissing Sid?? sounds scary....a bit like our President after a bad round.

I am starting (as of today) a prize for the "Most Outrageous Captain Cook" of the day, and vote myself for the prize today. I managed to hit such a wicked one it landed in the middle of the fairway two holes away!
Still, nothing that a miracle 9 wood and a 9 iron to 8ft couldn't fix.......jam or what.

If you would like to put yourself forward for the most impressive Lorena Bobbit (wicked slice!) I can offer some tasty kit (far more impressive than a giveaway) - a rusty slazenger 2 iron, a pack of undersized gold balls from 1976? or even a rusty masters putter that was used to clean the leaves out of my drains.
