Why I love this forum!

It really is a great place to be, we have freedom of speech, great (sometimes heated) discussions, people offer good advice on equipment etc and the list goes on.

What has made me smile so much today however is how my innocuous and insignificant post on my new Cobra cap metamorphasised into an exchange of posts with John_Findlay that have caused me lasting damage from laughing so hard!

It really is amazing when you think about it.

Thanks John, for today, and a big thanks to GM for providing us with this medium for discussion and meeting fellow golfers. Also thanks for getting involved with us forumers. I have used other forums before where the related mags weren't interested at all.

I await your mickey-taking guys!

I also think this forum is great. I used to go on to the BBC forum before they binned it and then went to another couple after that, but this is far and away the best one yet. The reason for that I think is because you actually feel part of it and it's mine. It's yours. It's ours. But that doesn't mean it's cliquey. Everyone is invited as long as you've got a point to make and respect others POV. We take pride in it. It's self regulatory(sp?) and it keeps me from working.
All in all a great thing.
