Why do high handicappers...

...insist on giving so much advice? Even if I were a scratch player I think I'd be reluctant to dish it out, just in case what I was saying was potentially unsettling. Yet 5+, 10+, 20+ and even people without handicaps are dishing it out willy nilly.

Offer opinions, yes, but please don't tell a person he's wrong (not unless your name is Luke Donald, you coach Luke Donald, or you know that person's game intimately).

OK im a high handicapper, I still feel I have a contribution to make, you dont have to listen to it, in fact if im wrong, feel free to point me in the right direction, its how we learn.

nothing wrong with a high handicapper giving advice they might have been a sratch player in there youth and gotten older and now play of a high handicap

Have you ever been on the range looking at others and thought "if only he/she did this it would help that swing"? Obviously it would be rude to interrupt someone to tell them they're doing it wrong. On the other hand some people just seem to be silently crying out for help but too afraid to ask.

Do PGA pros receive training in ignoring swings until specifically asked to examine?

Never go to the range, you don't know who you might meet. I know a lot on here do, but i like to play golf, not practice.
