insist on putting those horrible "waxed" laces in their shoes?
Lost count of how many times during a round of golf they come undone.
Trying to get them tight is almost impossible.
Crap.

If you don't get on with them, why don't you just buy the type you do like?

Not exactly a huge cost compared to new shoes.

I've got BOA shoes Phil.
I'm asking why Footjoy persist with those horrible waxed laces.

Cheap ? They only seem to do them in the DNA - the ones in the FJ Casuals are normal laces

A question on BOA- what happens when the laces snap? Is that then a new pair needed?

Never known the cable to snap, mine are still fine after 3 years. Don't know what sort of warranty FJ put on the BOA system.

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the whole idea of the waxed laces was so that they didn't come undone !...:smirk:

Had the same thought years ago, then I learned the correct way to tie my shoes.
They never come undone now, but it took a while to get out of the automatic old way of doing things.

i watched the video and had no idea which way I tied mine. I then checked and it seems I have always tied mine in the "correct" way. Thanks go to my mum for teaching me well.
