This is how my clubs behave..
1) They go dry as a bone and any effort to use them is pointless.
2) 'I have enough' and start looking for a replacement
3) The club chosen for replacement suddenly start working again!!

It happens everytime, I have put served notice on my 3-Wood, Hybrids and Putter this season and they have all started performing. However when that club starts firing, something else goes quiet.... I never had a bag full of sticks that are all firing at the same time..

Think about it. Your clubs sit in a bag, in the dark of a cupboard or the boot of a car, for days on end, unloved and alone. What do you think the little blighters talk about all that time. They are in there, whispering and plotting. Whispering and plotting I tell you, on how to get their own back and disrupt your game. Mine have agreed they are all going to do it at once - just like they did last week.

My clubs sit in their own room, can see a nice view over the valley, and are never left dark, cold or dirty! Yet the dam things never show me the same love! It's a one way relationship and they want to be careful as the ping I irons were being very careful

They behave just like human employees! If their job is under threat they work a little bit harder! :)

It is usually putters that are the most fickle. First sign of being subbed they suddenly spark into life again and I make a few including the odd extravagent one from distance. It doesn't last and I then repeat the cycle of thinking about changing for one of the others
