The 910 fairway woods that is!

Been toying with the idea of trying one since i got my driver a few months back but resisted......until tonight at the range.

Tried the 910fd with the same shaft as my driver and WOW! this thing goes like a rocket! and straight!

Looks like my wallet is going to be £200 lighter over the next week or so when i get booked in for a fitting.

I can see me going the same way if i'm honest!!

Not tried either yet but it's only a matter of time....

A word of warning.

Make sure you have the money to buy them because i can promise you that you will want one after trying them.

I know, sort of resigned to it already though!!

Going to go and try one with the my driver shaft along the same lines as you. Hitting my nike 3 wood extremely well just now so will be interesting to see how ut compares.

200 quid for a fairway wood, are you mad?
I know it's horses for courses but my latest acquisition, a new MD F3 with a red prolaunch shaft, cost less than 100 all told and wouldn't swap it for the most expensive wood out there. Honestly, try more options before going for the pricey tags.

One of the advantages of being single/no kids and currentley living back with the rents for now is that i have plenty of spare cash at the minute so might aswell make the most of it before a woman gets her hands on it! haha.

But yeah it is alot for a fairway wood, seen them online for £165 so i'll see if they will match it and i will give some others a go but i think i'm going to end up with one.

Why get a fitting if you hit it so well??????

If i'm going to spend £200 on a fairway wood i want to make sure i'm getting the best possible set up for my money.

How did it go off the deck?

I thought the fd was better suited to a tee because of having a deeper face.
Did you try the 'f' as well?

I found I was hitting the F too high. The F-d bought it back down to respectable levels!
And there's not really much difference in the depth of the face, the main difference is the placing of the weight screw - near the face of the F_d and near the back on the F.

I only hit it off the deck as the rubber tees at the range were too high to hit fairway woods off.

Nah only tried the fd as someone was using the demo of the f.
